At Sorrentino’s, we know this old proverb is tried and true; to eat well is to eat Italian cuisine!
We hope to share the
tried and true secrets of Italian cooking with you through our La
Cucina
Italiana
cooking classes.
Besides the rich and varied flavours of Italian cuisine, we hope you will also discover a few other wonderful things about this style of cooking:
Italian food is often very quick and simple to prepare!
With the busy lives we live today, Italian cuisine offers many solutions to aspiring chefs with limited time in the kitchen.
With its emphasis on the freshest and best quality ingredients, and with its use of many staple ingredients that offer an enormous variety of known health benefits, Italian food is a healthy choice.
Italian cooking offers endless opportunities for creativity!
Although we will teach recipes in this class, we also hope to share with you the tools and techniques to use your own imagination to create unique and personalized dishes that are yours alone.
And don’t forget the most important ingredients for an Italian meal with friends and family – a glass of wine and lively conversation!

Class registrations are first come, first serve; we require a credit card number to hold your place in a class.
If you would like to be notified about the dates and themes of upcoming cooking classes,
please send us an email
- we will be happy to keep you posted!
Each Cooking Class is one day (4 hours), you can choose
either
a Sunday afternoon or a Monday evening. Class times to be announced. Location subject to change. Class fees are $100 per guest plus GST; includes hands-on instruction by a Sorrentino's Chef in a small group (max twenty (20) guests), wine and espresso tastings, recipes, a souvenir apron, samples to take home, and always a lot of fun! Should the class on your preferred date become full or not receive sufficient registrations to proceed, we will do our best to accomodate you on another available date of your choice.

Cancellation policy: if you are unable to attend your class, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice or a deposit of 50% will be assessed if we are unable to fill your space. No-shows will be assessed the full class fee.
Cooking classes are an excellent corporate team-building event, bridal shower or stagette idea, or private party! We can accommodate groups of approximately 20 guests for private hands-on classes - please call Lynette at 477-2789 for more information. They also make a great gift - ask about our gift certificates!
